Description of Rooms
9 fully-equipped, acoustically isolated (Wenger V-Ready) Rooms are available for William and Mary students, staff and faculty. With a full-time staff, loanable production equipment, and the Media Studios' array of industry-standard software, The Media Center is capable of supporting a wide range of multimedia projects from production, post-production to digital/analog distribution. Polices for Use
- All users are expected to abide by W&M's Acceptable Use Policy
- Currently enrolled students, staff and faculty may use the studios
- The rooms can be reserved for up to 5 hours (8 hours for Studio 1)
- Because of the large file sizes of multimedia projects, works in progress can not be stored on workstations indefinitely. Files will be deleted monthly or sooner. We do have external hard drives to keep longer term works in progress available on a first-come first-served basis. These can be checked out for four 6 weeks.
- Studios can only be used during current operating hours.
