We are happy to have volunteers and interns in the SCRC. We have a wide variety of tasks for which we would love help, including (but not limited to!):

| re-housing (re-foldering and re-boxing) collections to improve their preservation | |
| preparing and installing exhibits | |
| working with photographs and artifacts | |
| maintaining/adding to our webpages | |
| working at the reception desk |
We welcome students from other schools in addition to William and Mary who would like to intern in the SCRC, particularly MLS students. We are more than glad to work with you to develop an internship that fits your academic needs.
Potential volunteers and interns should call the director of the SCRC at 757-221-3054 or email to set up a meeting to discuss mutual needs, interests, and expectations. All volunteers and interns are subject to background checks. A minimum commitment of three hours per week is expected. Hours during the spring and fall semesters are Monday through Friday 10-5:45 (Wednesdays until 8:45) and Saturday 10-1; hours may vary during summer and holidays.
In return, you will get a parking permit and our thanks, as well as getting to hang out with some of the coolest, nicest people and neatest stuff on campus!
