- LexisNexis Congressional
Indexes and abstracts congressional committee publications; offers full text of congressional bills, reports, prints, the Congressional Record and Congressional Research Service reports; also offers full text access to laws, regulations, and miscellaneous information on the members of Congress, including campaign finance, financial disclosure, and voting records.

Search for information in government agency periodicals since 1988.

Catalog records for publications distributed through federal depository libraries from 1976 to present. Includes some library holdings information.
- PAIS Archive
Indexes books, journals, magazines and government documents with articles on political affairs from 1937 through 1976.
- PAIS International
Indexes books, journals, magazines and government documents with articles on political affairs from 1972 to present.
- JSTOR
Indexes and offers full text of articles on all topics in academic journals from beginning of journal titles but not most recent 3 or 4 years. Advanced search enables searches to be narrowed to selected academic disciplines.
- National Journal Group's Policy Central
Includes annual Almanac of American Politics, a compendium of information about members of Congress, their voting patterns, and their districtss. Includes other information on political ads, polls, and insider news.

Includes Social Sciences Citation Index, which features indexing of articles by citing and cited by patterns.

Provides bibliographic records of U.S. Government information products. Use it to link to Federal agency online resources or identify materials distributed to Federal Depository Libraries. Coverage begins with July 1976 and new records are added daily.

Gateway to statistics from over 100 U.S. federal agencies. Search by term across federal web sites, browse a topic list, or browse agencies by topic or agency name.
- FirstGov
"The U.S. government's official web portal. Browse government information by agency, topic or form.
- Google U.S. Government Search
Uses the popular search engine to search U. S. government sites including state and local sites.
- Google Government State Search
Search Google's U.S. Government Search within a selected state. Can also try to add city or county name to search. From Research Buzz
- GPO Access
Extensive set of free, federal government full text databases including the Congressional Record, Federal Register, Congressional bills, reports and documents, Public Laws, U.S. Code, General Accounting Office Reports and other titles. Most files begin with early to mid 1990s material.

Information about the actions and members of Congress from the newspaper of Capitol Hill.
- Thomas: Legislative Information on the Internet
Free access to congressional information in three major categories: Legislation, Congressional Record, and Committee Information. Tracks legislation since the 93rd Congress (1973). Also includes guides to the legislative process and full text of selected historic documents such as the Federalist Papers, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.
