- American Anthropological Association
This link from the American Anthropological Association homepage takes you to the Association's "Anthropology Resources on the Internet" site which lists some of the largest and most up-to-date sites" on the Internet. "These sites are good places to a begin investigating the enormous wealth of anthropological materials now available on the Internet."
- Anthropology Collection Database
- Searchable collection, from the Department of Anthropology at the California Academy of Sciences, contains about 17,000 objects and consists of ethnographic and archaeological materials of indigenous cultures of western North America (exclusive of Mexico), the Pacific Rim, East Asia, East Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Central and South America. Work on this project is on-going.

The Anthropology Department at the University of California at Santa Barbara is responsible for this collection of web sites. The list is extensive and well organized and includes more than 400 sites of anthropological interest.
