Responsible for protecting the natural environment-air, water, and land. Collects information on the condition of the environment and issues regulations to enforce environmental laws. Issues the Toxic Release Inventory, policy documents, and many research studies
- Fish and Wildlife Service
Manages national wildlife refuges, protects endangered species, and conserves fish, wildlife, and their habitats. Publishes wetlands inventories, periodicals, surveys, and other wildlife-related reference materials.
