Collections in the SCRC
The collections of the SCRC comprise more than 3,000,000 manuscripts, 35,000 rare books, and several thousand linear feet of archives. To support William and Mary's teaching and research mission, the SCRC collects the papers of individuals, businesses, organizations, and institutions as well as rare books, photographs, oral histories, and other materials. The SCRC preserves the University's archives and the scholarly work of its faculty and students. The SCRC also houses the Warren E. Burger Collection. Together, the SCRC's collections are jewels in the crown of William and Mary.
