Giving to Special Collections
Special Collections exists due to the gifts of materials themselves and money to purchase and to preserve them here at the College of William and Mary's Earl Gregg Swem Library. We do not spend state funds on the building of our world class collections. It has been through the generosity and vision of our College family and friends that these marvelous collections have been assembled and maintained for the research needs of our students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars.
The pages noted above will give you information on what we collect and why and how you can become a donor to Special Collections. They include a sample gift agreement and a list of specific conservation needs for items in the different collection areas.
